1. What this policy covers
This policy describes cookies, local storage, session storage, and external scripts observed on the Light from the Holy Land website. The exact items can change when WordPress, WooCommerce, Stripe, Jetpack, the theme, or other active components are updated.
2. Strictly necessary and payment-security technology
Stripe.js is loaded by the current checkout plugin on public pages. Testing observed __stripe_mid, __stripe_sid, and a Stripe-domain m cookie, along with Stripe network requests. Stripe uses its technology to provide payment components and help prevent fraud. Full card details are entered into Stripe’s payment interface rather than stored by this site.
WordPress, WooCommerce, and security/hosting components may also use cookies or storage for sessions, authentication, cart state, form protection, or site security when those features are used.
3. Functional and attribution storage
Testing observed WooCommerce source-attribution cookies beginning with sbjs_, plus WooCommerce cart-hash values in local and session storage. These help maintain attribution or cart-related state. Their presence does not mean that a physical-product shipping workflow is complete.
4. Analytics
Jetpack Stats and WooCommerce analytics resources from stats.wp.com were active during the audit. MonsterInsights was installed, but the rendered page stated that it was not configured and emitted no Google Analytics tracking code. No prayer text, name, email, recipient information, or payment secret should be added to analytics.
5. Forms, theme, media, and external resources
Contact Form 7, WordPress, WooCommerce, the BeTheme theme, external fonts, optimized images, and other resources load scripts or assets needed for page presentation and interaction. Cookie behavior can depend on the feature used and the external provider.
6. Current consent limitation
No Accept Cookies, Reject Cookies, Manage Cookies, or equivalent consent control was found during testing. Analytics, attribution, and Stripe resources can load before a visitor makes a consent choice. The required consent and blocking approach depends on applicable law and remains a legal/privacy launch decision. This policy does not claim that nonessential scripts are blocked.
7. Browser controls
You can use browser settings to review, block, or delete cookies and storage. Blocking necessary or Stripe-related technology may prevent checkout, payment, forms, or other site features from working.
