Through the timeless tradition of candle-lighting and prayer, we carry each person‘s intentions to take her churches where they are offered with reverence by local Christians.
By thoughtfully preserving the sacred moments through a personal keepsake video, we allow people around the world to witness their prayers being offered and experience the lasting connection to the Holy Land.

Our Story
Light from the Holy Land was born from longing.
When our founder, Maya, left her home in Bethlehem for the United States, she carried with her cherished memories of candle-lit churches, heartfelt prayers, and the profound peace found in the Holy Land. Though thousands of miles away, she longed to remain connected to the sacred places where her faith had been nurtured.
Over time, Maya realized that many others shared that same longing—not only to visit the Holy Land, but to experience the peace, hope, and spiritual connection found in its sacred churches, even when they could not make the journey themselves.
From that longing, Light from the Holy Land was born: a mission to bring the timeless tradition of candle-lighting and prayer beyond the borders of the Holy Land. Through the prayers of local Christians and the gift of a personal keepsake video, we invite people everywhere to experience a meaningful connection to the land where faith began.
Where We Serve
We currently offer candle lighting and prayer services at:

- Shepherds Field Church
As our community grows, we’re working to expand this sacred experience to more churches across the Holy Land.
To preserve the sanctity of these spaces, we limit the number of candles lit during each visit.
