Privacy Policy
1. Scope and service contact
This policy applies to the Light from the Holy Land website, Contact form, and Send a Prayer checkout. The public service contact route is the Contact page. The operator’s formal legal identity and jurisdiction are awaiting owner and legal confirmation; no company, charity, nonprofit, address, or registration claim is made in this interim notice.
2. Information submitted directly
Depending on how you use the site, you may submit:
- your name, email address, telephone number, and country;
- your prayer intention, dedication, occasion, and related names;
- gift-recipient name and email, plus a gift message;
- church, service, physical-item, add-on, included-gift, and engraving selections;
- Contact-form messages; and
- payment-related identifiers and status information produced during checkout.
Do not include unnecessary health, financial, identity-document, account-password, card, or other highly sensitive information in a prayer or message. If you submit information about another person, including a child or gift recipient, provide only what is needed and ensure you are authorized to do so.
3. Prayer intentions and gift-recipient information
Prayer, dedication, recipient, and gift-message information is stored with a non-public WordPress Prayer Order so authorized site administrators and fulfillment personnel can process the request. The checkout does not include this content in Stripe PaymentIntent metadata. The website does not intentionally publish Prayer Orders.
4. Payment processing through Stripe
Stripe provides the payment form and processes payment details. Light from the Holy Land does not receive or store full card details through this checkout. WordPress retains the internal order identifier, order key, total, currency, Stripe PaymentIntent identifier, payment status, and limited payment-event information needed to reconcile and secure an order. Stripe receives the payment amount, currency, receipt email, internal order ID, and order key.
5. Why information is used
Information is used to:
- present and calculate the selected service;
- create and administer a Prayer Order;
- process and reconcile payment;
- prepare the requested prayer, gift, video, or physical-item service;
- communicate about checkout, delivery, or support;
- prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents; and
- meet applicable record-keeping or legal obligations once those requirements are confirmed.
6. Service providers and access
Information may be processed by the website host and WordPress administrators who operate the site, Stripe for payment processing and fraud prevention, Contact Form 7 for form handling, and personnel who need order details for fulfillment. Any additional video hosting, email delivery, shipping, or operational provider must be documented and approved before this notice is treated as final.
7. Cookies, analytics, and external resources
The site currently loads Stripe.js, Jetpack/WooCommerce analytics resources, WooCommerce source-attribution storage, theme and form scripts, external fonts, and optimized image resources. Stripe and WooCommerce-related storage was observed during testing. MonsterInsights is installed but was not configured to emit Google Analytics tracking code during the audit. No verified cookie-consent control currently blocks nonessential scripts before they load. See the Cookie Policy for the observed details.
Prayer text, names, email addresses, recipient details, and payment secrets must not be placed in analytics events.
8. Video creation, delivery, and storage
Selected services describe a personalized video, and the checkout collects an email for service delivery. The delivery platform, access method, retention period, deletion workflow, and backup treatment have not yet been operationally approved. No fixed retention or delivery guarantee is made here. Use the Contact page for a question or deletion request.
9. Retention
Prayer Orders and payment identifiers remain in WordPress unless an authorized administrator removes them. A formal retention schedule has not yet been approved. Some information may need to be retained for payment reconciliation, fraud prevention, disputes, or legal obligations. The schedule requires owner and legal review.
10. International processing
Website hosting, Stripe, external resources, and service fulfillment may involve processing in more than one country. The specific processor locations and appropriate transfer safeguards require confirmation and legal review.
11. Requests and rights
You may use the Contact page to ask what personal information is associated with you, request correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify the requester and may retain information where required for security, payment, dispute, or legal reasons. Applicable rights depend on the relevant jurisdiction.
12. Security
Access to Prayer Orders is intended for administrators and fulfillment personnel rather than public visitors. Stripe’s hosted payment components handle card entry. No online system is completely secure; do not submit information that is not needed for the service.
13. Changes to this policy
The effective date, last-updated date, and version above will be revised when this notice changes. Material operational and legal decisions listed as unresolved must be reviewed before this policy is treated as final or legally approved.
14. Contact
For privacy questions or requests, use the Light from the Holy Land Contact page. No unverified email address, telephone number, physical address, privacy officer, or support hours are published here.
